FireStudio Project driver 1.74 not working with Firestudio Project

Here for the gear Joined: Jan 2018 Posts: 2 🎧 5 years Presonus Firestudio Project with Win 10 I have 2 firestudio project interfaces. When I was running windows 7 I had no problem with both. I had to get a new pc and it has Win 10 64 bit. First neither interface worked due to drivers not having a digital signature. Then I figured out how to bypass that with restart settings ignoring the security requirement. So one interface loads up fine. The big problem is no matter what I do I can't get both to run. I have upgraded the Universal Control software to the latest version. It still does nothing to resolve the situation,Has anyone else had this problem? If so did you come up with a workaround to use multiple interfaces? Normally you can sync up to 3.Thanks,SteveNottingham, MD Lives for gear Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 5,679 🎧 15 years I don't think, there's any general workaround for working with multiple interfaces, unless there's is for example ADAT I/O, which allows to set the second one as standalone converter, unfortunately this isn't the case with Firestudio.Honestly I never really liked any kind of interfaces daisy chaining via FW or software aggregation, IME it always had some glitches, limitations or depends on certain driver, firmware, Firewire adapter configuration. How does it behave, both simultaneously connected interfaces are shown in Windows Device manager and it can't sync, if you try to initiate playback? Only thing, which come to my mind is to try legacy generic OHCI driver for your Firewire card.. It helps sometimes with those older devices. That driver was present in Windows 7, but it's standalone installation package for Windows 8, 8.1 (and it works also in Windows 10). sure to manually switch to that driver in device manager, as it's show at the webpage.Maybe it can help also in your case.Michal Here for the gear Joined: Jan 2018 Posts: 2 🎧 5 years Quote: Originally Posted by msmucr ➡️ I don't think, there's any general workaround for working with multiple interfaces, unless there's is for example ADAT

Now I have my sp2 , and I can create a bootable disk. But, I can not get it to create an ISO w/ the drivers. Do you know where I can find a detailed explination of how to load the new version of the drivers? thanks very much. I followed the directions with the BTS drivers to the tea, i know b/c i printed it and checked them all off as i went. I tried loading the BTS drivers after I installed the origional drivers, and w/ out loading the origional drivers and i get the same thing when it goes to build the ini file. here is what it sais: Building ISO image Runing external program: C:\bootcd\project\mkisof.exe -iso-level4 -force-uppercase -void "BartPE" -b bootsect.bin -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -hide boot.catalog-o "C:\bootcd\ISO\pebuilder.iso" "C:\bootcd\project\flies" Processdone. build process done... Also, when you used the BTS drivers, did you get an autobuild.cmd file in your main pebuilder folder BEFORE proceeding to use pebuilder to make the ISO? If. Presonus Firestudio Project Q A: Troubleshooting, Drivers

Not, you may have to manually run the autoinstall.cmd file in your main pebuilder folder. Did you make sure that the Make ISO box is checked and whatnot? Please elaborate. Thanks. :) Polenski Nov 22 2005, 12:42 PM Newbie Group: Members Posts: 12 Joined: 17-November 05 Member No.: 2052 yes, I got an autobuild.cmd. sorry about the "flies" my typeo. I also made sure that the create ISO file box was checked. I extracted Barts PE into my "project" folder I deleted the "plugins" folder I extracted the UBCD4WINV255.exe into the "project" folder I extracted UBCD4WinDriversV201.exe drivers into C:\bootcd\project\drivers I then extracted the UBCD4WinBTSDriversV101.exe into C:\bootcd\project Then i had downloaded all of the driver packs and copied them into the appropriate folder C:\bootcd\project\plugin\BTSdrivers\appropriate folder Then I ran Barts PE, selected the proper folders WINXP w/ sp2 C:\bootcd\WinXPsp2 the \files folder that I wanted to dump all my files into C:\bootcd\project\files and the ISO folder where i wanted it to dump my ISO file. C:\bootcd\ISO what did I miss? LittlBUGer Nov 22 2005, 01:10 PM Main Mirror/Here Since Beginning/Admin Group: Moderators Posts: 2684 Joined: 27-May 04 From: MT, USA Member No.: 31 I don't know why you put both the 2.01 and 1.01 drivers in there as they are exactly the same thing, just renamed to 1.01. So keep the 1.01. And that's probably where your error lies as you DON'T extract the new BTS drivers to the "drivers" folder. You extract them to your main pebuilder folder and hopefully the autoinstall.cmd file is automatically ran after extraction. If you were using the "old" 1.6 drivers, then yes, extract those to the pebuilder/drivers folder. Otherwise, I would suggest trying again with my suggestions, unless I missed something? Thanks. :) Polenski Nov 22 2005, 01:50 PM Newbie Group: Members Posts: 12 Joined: 17-November 05 Member No.: 2052 alright, i'm not sure if i had figured it out; or if there is just a glitch, or what but I put a check in the box on barts PE that sais "burn CD to disk'. and now it is creating my ISO.
