Hello from germany,we are experiencing the following error on IE11 "Internet Explorer has stopped Working" when qlikview plugin 11.20.13206.00 is installed (Windows 7 x64). - This error happens randomly on different client machines, not caused by a special qv dashboard or something we can do on demand to get the IE crashing again. This crash also happens sometimes when qlikview is not actively used in that moment but open in a background tab.We have seen this behavior (IE 11 randomly crashing) for abou 3-4 months now and i tried to find the part causing that, but today i recognized that this behavior seems to only occur on clients where the QV plugin 11.20.13206 is installed, other windows clients with same basic installation but without qlikview plugin do not show these internet explorer crashes.Of course, i tried to reinstall qv plugin, reset IE to defaults, disabled av scanner but this has not fixed the problem.Installing an older version of qv plugin is also no solution because thsi would causing print problems on some dashboards. Any ideas on that topic ?

Code editor is used to write custom code for steps which cannot be automated. To create Code Editor DLL – In Visual Studio, create new project with output type as Class Library using dot net framework 4.6. Add SE.Core.Automation.Interfaces DLL and SE.Core.Automation.Models DLL references in the project. Implement ICodeEditor using SE.Core.Automation.Interfaces.Common. On implementation of ICodeEditor, PerformAction method and Execution completed event are fetched. In perform action, IApplicationAutomation contains the instance of plugin on which a user can perform the required automation. In extractedfields, a dictionary of input and output arguments is fetched that are in scope of flow chart from which data is extracted as well as set back to dictionary for further processing. After code editor operations are completed, raise the execution completed event. In case of Web Applications for Firefox and chrome, ApplicationType is Selenium and for Internet explorer, ApplicationType is WatIn NOTE: To typecast IApplicationAutomation instance into specific application plugin add reference of Plugin from $RootFolder\SE\Plugins\ApplicationType\*.dll To access IE instance in code editor from the Web IE plugin, follow the below mentioned steps: Typecast IAppicationAutomation into IEPlugin. No longer shows self and edit links in the channel summaries for Atom feeds.Simplified the report shown after optimizing the archive database if errors were found. The Meta-Channel report template now uses Atom 1.0. This change required the addition of a new ITEM-METADATA-TYPE parameter that returns the type (HTML or plain-text) of a piece of content.Awasu now checks that the version of your data files matches the version of Awasu being run.admin.exe and upgrade.exe now must be run from an Administrator account.Updated the BlackBox crash handler to recognize Windows Vista. It also includes additional information about Awasu-related processes. Each user now downloads their own copy of the Channel Packs instead of updating a single shared copy.ResetUi.exe and the Syndic8 application plugin no longer create their log files unless they are needed.admin.exe no longer opens its log file in the Awasu installation directory. The BUILD.INFO file is no longer written to the Awasu installation directory.CDATA sections inside Atom XHTML or RSS xhtml:body content nodes are now parsed correctly. Added the intriguingly-named Mark Of The Web to the application plugin template files. Fixed a problem that was stopping Awasu from running on Windows NT. Fixed a bug in relative link translation of Atom 1.0 XHTML content. HttpWatch includes automation samples in C# and in a previous post we used C# to create simple empty cache and primed cache tests. However, a number of customers have recently asked how they can get started with HttpWatch and VB.Net. To use Visual Basic simply follow these steps:1. Create a VB.Net ProjectIn Visual Studio create a new console application for Visual Basic:2. Add a Reference for HttpWatchTo use the COM based HttpWatch automation API you need to create a reference by right clicking on the project and going to ‘Add Reference…’ :When the ‘Add Reference’ dialog opens click on the COM tab. If you have HttpWatch Basic or Professional Edition installed you should be able to find HttpWatch in the list of COM type libraries. A quick way to do this is to type ‘httpwatch’ into the References dialog. Once you have found the HttpWatch Automation library; select it and click on OK:3. Start Writing Code! The HttpWatch automation objects are now available in VB.Net. To make life easier you may want to add an Imports HttpWatch statement into your code so that you don’t have to add the HttpWatch namespace onto the name of every automation class and interface. There’s documentation for the API in the HttpWatch help file and you’ll see Intellisense prompts as you start writing code:Here’s an example of a simple program to test how long a page takes to load:Imports HttpWatch Imports System Module Module1 Sub Main() Dim url As String = " Dim controller As Controller = New Controller ' Create a new instance of IE Dim plugin As Plugin = controller.[New] plugin.Record() plugin.GotoURL(url) ' Wait for page to load controller.Wait(plugin, -1) plugin.Stop() Dim pageLoadTime As Double = _ plugin.Log.Pages(0).Entries.Summary.Time Console.WriteLine("The page loaded in " + _ pageLoadTime.ToString() + " secs") plugin.Container.Quit() ' Close IE End Sub End ModuleAnd here is the empty cache test converted to VB.Net: Imports HttpWatch Imports System Module Module1 Sub Main() Dim url As String = " Dim controller As Controller = New Controller ' Create a new instance of IE Dim plugin As Plugin = controller.[New] 'Clear out all

17 hours ago, tenacioustears said: Alright,I'm sure this has come up in the past but I've been trying all night and am getting incredibly frustrated. Do the shockwave games (Attack of the slorgs, dice escape... etc.) just not work anymore? I usually use chrome then read shockwave isn't compatible so then I downloaded internet explorer 32 bit since my operating system is Windows 10 64 bit, downloaded shockwave on there but when I go to play a game it still says that schockwave isn't installed. I've been banging my head against the desk all night and googling for an answer but I've come up short. Anyone have any solutions? I don't like having 3 avatars that I'm unable to get because I can't even access the games Internet Explorer 11 is installed with Windows 10. However, on a 64-bit system, it is kinda strange. It is basically in "32-bit" mode, unless you "Enabled Protected Mode" on IE 11's Internet Options, Security tab, and "Enabled Enhanced Protected Mode", on IE 11's Internet Options, Advanced tab. Only then will it be "64-bit". But, in order to use Shockwave on Neopets, you must add (without the quotes) "neopets.com" to IE 11's "Compatibility View Settings. To do so, go to neopets.com in IE. Once there, click "Tools" (gear/cog looking icon, top, right corner of IE), then select "Compatibility View settings". In the window that opens, you should see "neopets.com" in the "Add this website:" text field. Click the "Add" button. In the "Websites you've added to Compatibility View:" box, you should now see "neopets.com" listed. Click "Close". The "neoepts.com" page should refresh. Now try the Shockwave games and you should get the "you don't have the latest plugin" (Sad Usul) message. Personally, I use what @smoss1 mentioned - the last version of Safari for Windows. It works the best, for me, as most of the Shockwave games work without freezing. (I have experienced Shockwave games freezing up, with IE 11). I also understand the security risks. Shockwave may not work with Opera, as it is a "chromium" based web browser, meaning it uses Chrome. Since Chrome no longer supports the Shockwave plugin, "chromium" browsers may not be able to, either, especially if you download the latest Opera version. The last thing smoss1 mentioned, is using an extension called "IE Tab" with Chrome. "IE Tab" allows you to open new tabs within Chrome, but it. The 32 bit can be found on a 64 bit system in C: program files (x86).
