Introduction to the Alpha Mac OS version of the IMVU clientIMVU thanks you for your help in testing the latest Alpha version of the IMVU client for Mac OS. Testing and development of this Alpha version is ongoing and we want your feedback related to performance and stability. You will notice that the Mac version is currently different from the Windows version and some features are not yet available. In upcoming versions, we will address issues reported by our Alpha customers as well as expand the service. We are committed to providing the IMVU client to the entire Mac user community so they, too, can enjoy the complete IMVU experience.Why is this only an Alpha version?IMVU’s Mac Client is in the early stages of product development and all features are not yet available (see below). We are testing with users like you and collecting feedback as part of the process. We want to identify and resolve major issues and ensure that the feature availability is comparable to our Windows version. Once that goal is achieved, a more official version of IMVU for Mac will be made available to our users. Again, we need your feedback to facilitate the process.Who can get the Mac client?Any Mac User! If you are already an IMVU user, on your Mac, go to read and agree to the testing agreement, and download the Mac client. Vu Archives is a platform that catalogs and preserves historical rooms, outfits, avatars, and profiles on IMVU. They offer a suite of tools for users, including the Hidden Outfit Viewer, Product Extractor, Scan User Rooms, Avatar Card Viewer, Room Card Viewer, and Profile. The Hidden Outfit Viewer tool allows users to visualize their outfits by copying the room scene link from the Windows client. This allows users to easily change their avatar’s outfit whenever they want.VuArchives also offers a default outfit viewer, allowing users to see anyone’s default outfit and unhide it. To use this service, right-click in the IMVU chat window, select “View products in this scene”, copy the URL, and paste it into a text box.
