Published Feb. 25, 2024, 10:47 a.m. ET Vin Diesel says he’s moving forward with his final Fast and Furious movie despite his recent legal issues.Diesel posted to Instagram on Friday to update fans that he met with the writers and team behind the planned finale for the Universal Pictures action movie series earlier that day. His update was the first public status on the film after his former assistant sued him for sexual battery in December. The accusation, which the star denies, stems from an alleged 2010 incident at a hotel during the production of Fast Five.“Just finished our end of the week Fast meeting with the writers and the whole team… to say the excitement for our finale was incredibly powerful is an understatement,” Diesel wrote in his post. He went on to thank fans for supporting the franchise and added: “This grand finale is not just an ending; it’s a celebration of the incredible family we’ve built together.
