I live up near Hyde Park. I'm looking for anyone interested in Flying by n the area. I've even thought about getting a group together. Let me know your thoughts. I'm m new to flying camera quads. I have flowed the small quads to learn how though. CheersDave[email protected] #11 Hi guys, I'm a new pilot of a P3Adv. Live in Old South area. I've only flown twice, because.....it's winter. What's the coldest temp you guys have flown in?Sent from my iPad using PhantomPilots mobile app #12 Hey...nice to hear from someone in London. Yes flying in winter can suck sometimes but if you're prepared it lots of fun I've flown about four times so far in January, the coldest -8 Celsius If you search the site you'll see some other posts with flights at -25 Celsius. It is possible to fly in winter, with just a few precautions though. Keep your batteries warm. This is really important. I fly for about 15-18 min max in the cold. Check your battery temp before you slowly lift off. Temp should be min 24-25c. Takes 2 minutes hovering to reach that temp. If you're interested in flying some weekend let me know.

The webcams come from TfL (Transport for London). They are otherwise known as Jam Cams. They show a short video clip of about 10 seconds duration and update every ten minutes. The videos that you see on your screen will refresh automatically every few seconds. No need to close and reopen the page or refresh. Sometimes a camera feed isn't available (during maintanance) and you will see the message "Camera in use keeping London moving". In such a case, the feed gets restored later. The camera positions change from time to time which means the description might not always be relevant to the scene you are viewing. They do tend to have one position that they stick to most of the time. The webcam feeds provided by TfL are delivered at a resolution of 352x288 pixels. This resolution, while considered low for standard displays, is optimally suited for viewing on smaller screens, such as those of mobile phones, where the video quality appears satisfactory. For each camera, you can click or tap on the video to expand. Click on a camera name to go to the camera page. Click the # to create a special link that will show that camera, even if it's further down the page. Link to home page: london-webcam.com.
