Many more, AND an excellet digital asset manager.Because all the functions are integrated in one program, I can assign keywords etc, develop the RAW image, edit it with E.g Focus Magic plugin, go back to the browser, convert to jpg or tiff, all without having to re-enter keywords.Since Ultimate 10, I have almost never needed an external layers editor, though I keep PaintshopPro around just in case.I am evaluating LR and ACD as recently and I agree ACD is really a good value proposition. But lately I am looking into the "edit" mode and I am not sure if their philosophy is great for everyone. LR has a total sidecar file for all of your edits, but for ACD, you seem to need to "save the image" when you do changes in edit mode. Notwithstanding that you can still revert to original, so the part about "non-destructive" is delivered as promised, but this could create a storage concern if you start saving duplicate copies. I like to see some feedbacks in this respect or is there a way around it.I also had some reservation about lack of HDR and panorama features but Glen had offered some good alternatives that alleviates most of the issues. Like Lightroom, you can edit ANY sort of photo file in the Develop mode, including tiff and jpg photos with sidecar files. Having been a Lightroom user, I know that Lightroom has nothing over ACDSee in terms of parametric editing.However, if you want to edit with Layers, regardless of software, you MUST edit in a bit mapped editor. I noticed that I can only move an image from Lr cc to one of the primary features such as portraits. Then, once in onOne I cannot select the layers tab. The only way I can get to layers is to open the file from onOne. Is this how the program works or is this a limitation of the trial? I’d like to be able to go directly to layers from Lr.
