Have exported data which I do ever so often.Have been using MailWasher for ages and have lifetime license.Don't want to unistall , as maybe can't get it reinstalled.Will use without update for time being. I guess you could say the new version is flashier but that's where the appeal ends. I personally tend to like the previous design, but the worst thing is the speed. It is horribly slow to start. You can see that when the new version starts it runs through a long series of some type of server checks and startup routines. I have a brand new i7 2nd generation system, SSD 16 GB ram etc and the startup time on the new version is pathetic.The new version does collect and process the mail faster but that advantage is unfortunately overwhelmed by the poor startup time. It's a shame that software developers have to ruin what was a previously excellent and fast program by "improving" it to the point of frustration. I used to recommend Mailwasher to all my business associates who were having junk mail problems, but not anymore. Unfortunately, the new Mailwasher version is a classic example of over-improving a previously great product to the point of uselessness.
