Media monkey duplicates

I am knew to Media Monkey. I purchased it so that I could locate duplicate songs and have Media Monkey delete those songs. I can create a report to find duplicate songs but Media Monkey adding duplicates. Post by abedel21 Sat 5:53 pm. Go to "search" top of the MediaMonkey forum page and use Duplicates as your keyword.Hope this helps abedel21 Post by abedel21 » Sun Mar 11, 2007 11:08 pm thanks allot for the help but i read through thr threads you gave me and even though they did provide some help the threads were mostly about multiple drive and computers having the porblems of seeing duplicates, I only have one computer and one hard drive with all my music on it, for some reason media monkey will one minute have one rack of some songs and then when i close it and restart it, it will have duplicate tracks, I have the gold version, and have tried different ways of fixing this but to no avail, and then there is the problem of the MM Saying that i have missing tracks that I know are phisically there, the only way to fix this is to rescan the library and well,,, when you have over 60 gigs of music that takes a long time, but oh well Lowlander Posts: 58152 Joined: Sat Sep 06, 2003 5:53 pm Location: MediaMonkey 5 Post by Lowlander » Mon Mar 12, 2007 10:10 pm Do you have the latest version (2.5.5) of MediaMonkey installed? Single drive computer, mp3's all in on directory. No duplicates in the hard drive directory, yet Media Monkey shows duplicates for every track. I am using Vers 2.5.5.996. Never had this problem, or any problem for that matter, with earlier versions.
