English Version of Mobius Final Fantasy is coming!

Mobius Final Fantasy is a free-to-play JRPG based on the "Warriors of Light" thematic element which factored into many classic Final Fantasy titles. Players become protagonist Wal, an amnesiac warrior who awakens in the mysterious world called Paramitia, said to be on a completely different planet than the one he was originally from. He is joined by other similarly confused visitors collectively called "Blanks."The forces of Chaos have invaded Paramitia, and it is said that one Blank will rise to become the "Hero of Light" and defeat Chaos to restore peace and hope to the land. Mobius will feature a job system for characters, each with unique abilities. Through these different jobs and abilities, players are encouraged to exploit elemental weaknesses of enemies during battles that are optimized to unfold dynamically on smartphone displays in portrait orientation. This facilitates one-handed play for commuters, and even accommodates for left-handed gamers.Though designed for smart device platforms, developer Square Enix promises Mobius Final Fantasy will aim for quality similar to the flagship numbered releases in the long-running JRPG series. The title was announced in December 2014 under its original title "Mevius Final Fantasy", and will be released in episodic format starting June 4th, 2015. Mobius Final Fantasy will also features limited time events and additional jobs to encourage daily play. Replaces the original Squaresoft version, as well as the new version of the Final Fantasy logo.Item adjustments - The Fang items (Red Fang, Blue Fang and White Fang) now use a fixed Intelligence value of 45 instead of the user's Intelligence for damage calculation (the user's Luck is still used), which makes them far more powerful early on.Wii Virtual Console (discontinued)[]The original title was re-released as part of the Virtual Console library of retro games on the Nintendo Wii. If the player does not learn it upon the first casting, Pandora's Box may be impossible to obtain. However, the global variable for Pandora's Box is also used in the Jenova∙SYNTHESIS battle, meaning that after triggering the battle, if one were to fight another Dragon Zombie, it would again use Pandora's Box. Jenova∙SYNTHESIS is past the point of no return, however, and the only ways to get back from that point is by using some tricks to trigger a glitch. The Tentacles are identical versions of Jenova∙SYNTHESIS with the same Enemy ID, programmed to be non-visible (as opposed to additional body parts with unique IDs). This is why the Quadra Magic Ultima glitch does not trigger against it.Gallery[]Etymology[][view · edit · purge]The dot (・) is an interpunct used in Japanese to indicate that a full proper noun is two separate words.
