El Autódromo internacional del Algarve será la sede inaugural del próximo curso de MotoGP™ El calendario completo y provisional de la temporada 2023 de MotoGP™ será publicado por la FIM a su debido tiempo, pero la primera cita ya está confirmada. Con motivo del GP de Portugal, el curso 2023 será el primero en dar comienzo a su edición en asfalto europeo desde 2006, y será solo el tercer inicio de temporada celebrado en Europa en más de tres décadas de historia. Sky sicherte sich die exklusiven Rechte im Pay-TV, womit ein legaler Empfang der Motorrad-Weltmeisterschaft in Deutschland nur noch über das kostenpflichtige Sky-Paket möglich war.Nun, einen Tag vor den ersten Trainingssitzungen beim Saisonauftakt in Katar, wurde bekannt, dass doch zwölf der 21 geplanten MotoGP-Rennwochenenden im deutschen Free-TV zu sehen sein wird. Hierbei handelt es sich um die Events in Portimao, Austin, Jerez, Barcelona, Mugello, am Sachsenring, Spielberg, Misano, Buriram, Sepang und Valencia.Möglich macht das eine Kooperation für die Free-TV-Rechte zwischen ServusTV und dem neuen Sender DF1. ServusTV führt die Übertragung trotz des Ausstiegs in Deutschland im Heimatmarkt Österreich ja fort. Zu sehen sind die Rennen in der Bundesrepublik direkt im linearen Fernsehen bei DF1 und auch online bei ServusTV On, Red Bull TV App sowie redbull.com.Die deutschen MotoGP-Fans können also die aus den letzten Jahren bekannte TV-Übertragung von ServusTV verfolgen. Als Kommentatoren fungieren dabei weiterhin Christian Brugger oder Philipp Krummholz, Alex Hofmann übernimmt die Rolle des Experten. Die Moderation übernehmen abwechselnd Alina Marzi und Eve Scheer, denen Stefan Bradl, Sandro Cortese und Gustl Auinger an die Seite gestellt werden.Zu sehen sind wie gewohnt die Rennen aller drei WM-Klassen. Dates for the first GP and for pre-season testing for 2024 can now be revealed The dates for the 2024 Qatar Grand Prix can now be announced! The 8th to the 10th of March 2024 is the provisional date to be proposed to the FIM as MotoGP™ prepares to return to Qatar’s spectacular floodlights for the first event of the season.Before an exception in 2023 due to extensive renovation to the circuit facilities, Qatar had opened the Championship for the past 16 seasons consecutively and will now do so once again. The 2023 Qatar Grand Prix will be held on the 19th of November, for the penultimate round of the year, before MotoGP™ is set to return less than four months later for the 2024 opener.Testing for 2024 will begin as soon as November as we get our very first taste of next year's grid in a one-day test just after the 2023 season finale. The Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia, as the host for the final round of the season, will stage this one-day test on Tuesday the 28th of November 2023.The pre-season itself will start in February with the Shakedown Test and Official Test at Sepang International Circuit:SEPANGShakedown Test: Thursday 1st – Saturday 3rd of February (for test riders and rookies only)Official Test: Tuesday 6th – Thursday 8th of FebruaryQatar will host the second and final test later the same month:QATAROfficial Test: Monday 19th – Tuesday 20th of FebruaryThere will also be three days of in-season testing during 2024, which marks an increase of one day compared to 2023.
