The problem is a movie i downloaded plays without audio when i open it. The picture is clear and perfect but no audio.Then i install Nimo codec pack build 8. The audio comes but the picture is terrible with green background.Can anyone please help on which codec is usefull for my system. I run win xp if it matters. Please!! Banned I think your movie is a xvid movie with AC3 sound and when you are installing Nimo Pack,you will get the AC3 codec but there is some conflicts with some shit in Nimo Pack.Just do like this and it will work:Uninstalled all DivX codecs and xvid codecs,(Nimo Pack etc.) You can then install xvid codecs from here: install all DivX codecs separat (Not from Nimo). that install Nimo Pack but uncheck all divx codecs and the xvid codec and also uncheck a direct show filter which is Ffdshow DirectShow Install Nimo from here: all should work fine! Forum Video Newbie / General discussions Nimo codec's make TMPGEnc not work Thread--> Member Alrighty, I was having problems with TMPGEnc, and someone suggested that I download TMPGEnc first and then download the nimo codec pack. Well I downloaded TMPGEnc first and it worked, but then when I downloaded the nimo pack an error message comes up (which I have listed about before). So now I cant use TMPGEnc because of the nimo pack, and I am only using the video and audio codecs from the pack. I dont know what to do, I hope someone can help me. whatever happens, happens...... Member Installing the nimo codec pack is never the answer. It causes numerous problems and to tell you the truth, I have never actually talked to anyone who used it without problems. Uninstall it and simply install the codecs that you use. Get the latest version of the divx codec and you might want to pick up the AC3 codec in the tools section as well. If you deal with mpeg2 (DVD or SVCD) than install a software DVD player, any trial version will do. Most other codecs will automatically download when you try to play them in WMP. 2025-03-29Forum Video Video Conversion Mainconcept and the right Codec problems solved Thread--> Member numerous problems with mainconcept until I uninstalled every codec in my system (windows xp) and used Nimo Codec Pack Build 7.Install everything in the package except the Huffy.Before using these codecs, mainconcept would not split files (muxing). I would get Ntdll errors. Plus seem to get other problems with some files when it finished. Seems to be working great now. But, the company should have made its own codecs with the package. Horrible documentation for this product. Mod Neophyte Good luck with the Nimo codec pack, you may be one of the few with no problems when installing it. You might do a forum search for 'Nimo'. The problem is when you install codecs you don't need. They can conflict. If everything works OK, great. If you have codec problems in the future, it may be the pack.
