We never want to make excuses about any issue that might arise however; at the end of our peak season we do see in all of our vacation rentals repairs that must be maid. We had know way of knowing the dishwasher would back up and certainly we hate you had to mop the floor. We agree guest should not have to clean during their stay and its unfortunate this happened at night . The lounge chairs have been removed and new ones ordered. If we had known this we could have brought new ones during your stay. We are just a phone call, email, or app request away to be app to handle any request a guest may have . The outside patio was lovely and extends the square footage to provide outdoor living. It would be lovely if there was more comfortable seating out there to enjoy. The kitchen and other rooms were well stocked but the condo was not very clean. I had to dust the furniture and my sister in law had to clean her bathroom due to it being very dirty. Our office is just outside the gates of the Resort , perhaps unknown to the guests, and our maintenance staff would have been able to correct the issues while the guests were here. It remained closed for the first 3 days before it was repaired. No one told of about this or where else we could swim. The condo was nice, but very dated. The kitchen was from the 80's and did not even have potholders. We tried to cook in one night to discover the oven took 30 minutes to heat to 350 degrees. The can opener did not work and we had to adjust our dinner because of something so simple. Kitchen not well equipped. There was not one single throw rug in the place and everyone went to bed with sand on their feet every night. The master bed was ok, but the pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The master toilet ran a great deal of the time. We tried to give the kids a bath in the large master tub, but the water pressure was such that it took too long to fill up, so we gave up. It would have been nice to have had a book about the area, Destin and Sandestin - what to do, where to eat, etc. We went deep sea fishing and had to look online to find a company that did that. I feel there were a lot of things we missed because we had no information. Also the kids feet were black after walking on the floors (not about the sand). The view was awesome and we did enjoy sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean.
