When IE7 starts back up the "Customize your settings" page opens again. I've tried a couple of registry tweaks, I've tried a GP tweak, I've even yelled at the computers but nothing I does helps. All the ones I own have the ability to transmit tones. That is about the most incorrect post you have made so far, and that's saying something.I would say a solid majority of Kenwood, Icom, Motorola and Vertex radios made in the last 15 years support 2-Tone encoding. #8 Yup. Audacity would be your best bet, but as far as playing them over the air, that's a different story. #9 Don't the Minitor's use tones that are near a second long for each tone?I was not aware that any of the portables could encode a signaling tone of that length before sending the next tone. I'll admit that I don't know the tone specs on the Minitor's but I would think each tone must be active for a specific amount of time before it is considered valid. I've played with the various tone settings on some of my Motorola portables in the past but can't recall being able to generate a tone for more than a few milliseconds for each tone. They sure sounded way too fast (short) to trip a Minitor but maybe I'm wrong. Afternoon, all.I know Mikeslr has mentioned my SeaMonkey portable builds on numerous occasions, but I hadn't got around to creating a thread for them.....this not being one of my 'regular' browsers. Anyways, here it is.....so that at least there's a fixed 'home' for it!Mike mentioned the older builds, here:- ... 2206#p2206.....and the currently available package is 2.53.18.2:- ... y-portableSame instructions as all the other 'portables'; d/l; unzip; move the Seamonkey-portable directory anywhere you like.....preferably, outside the 'save'. Click to enter, click 'LAUNCH' to fire 'em up. Simples!The profile directory is automatically created within the main directory at first run.......or, you can swap-over your profile directory from your previous build. Can even be run from a suitably Linux-formatted USB flash-drive, if you so desire.Navigate through, and help yourselves. Enjoy.Mike. A browser that won't let you use any useful extensions is as much use as a chocolate teapot, IMHO.I'll attempt to keep these as up-to-date as I reasonably can, given how many other browser packages I'm also maintaining. However, setting it up has reminded me as to why I have not used it in a while. I don't seem to be able to do what I normally do when I set up other browsers using Edit>Preferences or the various managers in Tools>xxxxx. I also like to use ublock and this does not seem possible. I've not spent much time on any of this so will look into it further. I think for the moment I will stick to using Palemoon or Iron until they become unusable /unsafe.
