Punkbuster update

Join a Punkbuster enabled server. Please let me know if you still get the lockup/freeze after closing this program.YAKUHi,I don't have any of those programs running on my PCYAKUHiI have been playing sunday and monday for about 3 hours each day in non PB protected servers and everything seems to be fine withouth PB envolved.EBPlease check if the Windows Update KB917422 is installed on your computer. If so, install this hotfix from Microsoft: addition, check if you have installed the Nvidia Network Manager. There is a issue with the Nvidia Network Manager dll that corrupts the UDP stack. Enabling PB when the game has launched can trigger this crash.Also running the game in the Windows 2000 compatibility mode might help. To do so right click on the game executable and create a new shortcut. Then right-click on the newly created shortcut, select properties and go to the compatibility tab. Select Windows2000 as compatibility mode.==============================No Nvidia Network Manager here, installed the hotfix and running in compatibility... Result: 2 weeks fine and then Booooomm.. Hi YakuWell we have exactly the same problem and the same BSOD codes...at least there are two of us out there!My fix didn't work, I got a BSOD running COD4 multi last night. I've never had a BSOD as a result when playing PB Enabled CoD 4 servers. i have the same machine - and the same problem... debugger says the same thing caused by PnkbstrK.sys or something like that.... i have a question -- do you guys also get a blue text warning from punkbusters when you enter a pb server... i get one that says Warning Punkbuster Client: blah blah blah.... and i have to play in non pb servers - i can play in the non pb servers all day without a problem.. anyway... just wondering Have you guys tried to manually update Punkbuster from the punkbuster website? same problem, same computer.I still can't

Hired and paid to keep cheaters out of our game. BF4DB no longer believes Punkbuster has the players’ best interest at heart. As of today, our staff has been instructed to no longer issue ANY bans based solely on Punkbuster violations, regardless of violation code. While they are still logged, primary evidence must be present in order for a ban to be issued. The violation can only be used as supporting evidence. Additionally, anyone who was issued a ban for a Punkbuster violation triggered in or after 2/1/18, is eligible to open a new ban appeal with BF4DB. If no other proof of cheating is present, the ban will be lifted.Our linked account policy will remain the same: All accounts linked to bans issued for violations prior to 2/1/18 will be banned according to our banning policy. All accounts linked to bans issued for violations after 2/1/18 will remain unbanned as long as no other proof of cheating is present.
