It includes the preset, the required shader and a custom VR-enabled Reshade build.If you have previously used my Fallout 4 custom openvr_api.dll, please remove it and restore the original one. This ReShade preset makes it obsolete, and having both installed will probably cause conflict.Adjusting values in-gamePressing the HOME key will open the built-in Reshade UI. Here you can adjust the parameters as you see fit. The END key will toggle the effects on or off, so you can use that to observe the difference the preset makes in the headset. Available parameters:Contrast Adaptation: controls the intensity of the sharpening filter. Ranges from 0 to 1, with 0 still providing some sharpening.Max color delta: can be used to limit the amount of change to a pixel in the image. This was introduced by the ENB CAS variant and can be used to prevent sharpening artefacts with grass or foliage in the game. A value of 0.07 is typically recommended for Skyrim.Sharpening intensity: determines the blend between the unsharpened and sharpened image. A value of 0 effectively disables the sharpener.Contrast / Brightness / Color saturation: basic controls for color adjustment. Set these to 1 to get the unmodified color value. About this mod A simple Reshade to clean up Death Stranding. The goal of the Reshade is to keep the original vision alive, while adding clarity, enhancing shadows, improving contrast, and removing as much blur or haze as possible. Requirements Permissions and credits Changelogs Donations Death Stranding is a beautiful and amazing game. The Director's Cut only improves on the original. The visuals have some things I dislike, such as blur, haziness, and too much gamma. This Reshade is my attempt to clean up the visuals, making the image more visible, shadows deeper and more realistic, and colors richer.Installation is easy: 1. Download the latest Reshade from their site (currently 5.7.0) and install it to the Death Stranding or Death Stranding: Director's Cut executable. 2. Select DX10/11/12 as the Rendering API when the Reshade installation asks. 3. When asked for a preset, skip it. 4. When asked about default Reshade shader and texture packs, download the basic ones that are preselected.5. Let Reshade Installation finish.6. Download this mod. Unzip it. Drop the contents of the Death Stranding Simple and Clean Reshade FOLDER into your main Death Stranding game directory. Make sure to put the folder CONTENTS in the main game directory, NOT the Death Stranding Simple and Clean Reshade FOLDER itself. The main game directory should have the "Death Stranding Simple and Clean Reshade" CONFIGURATION FILE, and also ask to you Overwrite all files from the reshade-shaders FOLDER. Select yes to all. If you don't get asked to overwrite the reshade-shaders folder, then you did something incorrectly. You are effectively dumping my mod reshade-shaders folder and replacing the ones Reshade installed earlier.
