Serv-U allows customers to deploy a HA architecture. However, the more Serv-U a customer has in the cluster, the more support overhead will be there because configuration will not be synchronized against the Serv-U cluster . Customer need to replicate the configurations on each Serv-U which increase the support work load and increase the chance of mistake.In my set up, I leverage LDAP to do the authentication. I need to create the OU and user group on each Serv-U. After the set up, I need to cross check each Serv-U instance to make sure I didn't miss the set up on any instances. Thanks for the sharing but for sure no business users allow service level degrade warning: it brings down all of the nodes to reload the config files except the node the script is running on. SolarWinds added this feature in version 15.3 some six short months after my review, in January 2022, maybe they were listening, who knows.
