Alternate settlements is completely compatible with Homemaker if a user uses the Homemaker Settlement Keywords patch. SSEX is not compatible with Settlement Keywords It dose work without Settlement Keywords, and if I recall Settlement Keywords correctly, that change's where many settlement menu items are located. There is one other I use, that used it, and works without it. For any mod that uses Settlement Keywords mod, load them in FO4Edit, and under File Header, delete the master for Settlement Keywords

I had issues with this even at vanilla settlement sizes, so I assume the problem just gets worse. You'll only get a few seconds to react, so be ready to drop some Bavarium nukes as soon as the shield is down. Once the shield is back up, keep evading Di Ravello's attacks and position yourself for an attack right before the shield is down, then use all of your arsenal to damage the helicopter as much as you can. Keep repeating this process until you completely deplete Di Ravello's healthbar. A cutscene will start and after Di Ravello says a few words, you'll be given the option to shoot him.
