I recently demoed/trialed Soundtoys Microshift, and I found it to be pretty good. Simple to use, fast workflow and very subtle if need be. Need be. I'm a bit of cheapskate however and was wondering if there're other plugins out there that can do same thing as effortlessly as Microshift? Also curious what are your thoughts on their other plugins? I've been told they're pretty good, but this Microshift and maybe Decapitator are the only plugins that have caught my interest. Soundtoys is one of just a handfull of VST producers who know how to create utterly dope plugins. Another brand that I just came accross is Zynaptic. If you're after drumsmashing...you've mentioned Decapitator...look also into the Valley Dynamite Plugin for that particular purpose.Soundtoys Echoboy is outstanding. Aside from that, I dunno, Waves Doubler?Tremolator is a pretty special plugin from Soundtoys, IMO. I’ll throw it on a synth strings buss and dial it in kind of subtle to give some life to the part. I got the bundle. IMO their stuff is a cut above. Do I have other echo plugs besides Echoboy? Do I have other smashing compressors besides Devil-Loc? Do I have other filter sweeping things besides Filter Freak?

Long list of algorithms. There are 14 unique algorithms to pick from, each of which is named after a constellation, providing numerous nuances to your ambiance.Valhalla also gives you a huge list of presets to get you started. Some of my favorites are the room-like sounds that are great for when you need super short spaces, such as a small drum room or ambient space for rhythm guitar. All in all, it's a great plugin for sound design purposes, creating huge, nearly granular soundscapes or adding the cherry on top of unique effect chains.3. Soundtoys Little PlateSometimes, simplicity exceeds all. This is certainly the case when it comes to Soundtoys Little Plate , which emulates the sound of the EMT 140 Plate Reverb in a superb little package. You'll only find one switch on the plugin, which allows you to choose between two plate characteristics. Beyond that, there's a knob for the decay time and a low-cut filter to take unnecessary low-end out of your reverb tone.Little Plate goes beyond your standard plate reverb emulation, exceeding the physical dimensions when pushed to its limits. Turn the Decay knob to Infinity and take your listeners on an adventure. With low CPU usage, a simple interface, and a vintage touch, it's a wonderful take on the traditional plate reverb.Best Delay Plugins for Ableton Live1. Soundtoys EchoboyNo list of great delay plugins is complete without talking about Soundtoys Echoboy . This plugin is one of the most flexible and comprehensive delay plugins on the

With its ability to emulate a range of analog hardware, this plugin offers a distinctive edge to your tracks by delivering anything from subtle harmonic enhancement to aggressive saturation.Decapitator’s intuitive interface and five distinct saturation algorithms – A, E, N, T, and P – enable users to effortlessly dial in the desired saturation style, reminiscent of classic hardware units. The plugin’s “Drive” knob allows for precise control over the amount of saturation, while the “Tone” knob lets you shape the sound by adjusting the brightness or darkness of the processed audio. For those craving a more aggressive and distorted edge, the “Punish” button pushes the plugin to its limits, delivering an intense level of saturation that’s perfect for adding power and depth to drums, basslines, and more. The “Thump” and “Steep” switches provide additional sonic flexibility, allowing users to emphasize low-end frequencies or roll off high-end content, respectively.
