Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question. Spotlight not finding content of either Adobe InDesign documents of Quarkxpress documents I am using a Macbook Pro running Monterey 12.6 and Spotlight words content search fails to return any results, except for documents exported as pdfs. example: I create a list of artist names using Quarkxpress and the same list using Adobe Indesign. I save both lists as "artists list". Included in the lists is the name Cy Twombly. I export both lists as pdfs. A subsequent spotlight (or finder) search for the Cy Twombly finds the two pdfs of "artist list" but not the Quark or Abode original files. This was never a problem on any previous Macbook I have owned. I have followed instructions and rebuilt the index several times without any different result being achieved. ie Spotlight will not find content. (neither will the finder) I can find file names, but not what's in them.
