But… I tried. In the end, I did. The very last words of a mortally sick Arthur Morgan (High Honor route). Everybody likes to get sad thinking about Arthur’s conversation with the nun, where he says “I’m afraid,” but we’ve been sleeping on some of his last words. At the end there, he looks at Dutch and says “I gave you all I had, Dutch. A high honor Arthur’s tombstone is tended to and adorned with flowers. His epitaph reads “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness.” An eagle watches over the site. You can’t harm the eagle nor the coyote; it’s as if Arthur is looking on even from the grave. If Arthur’s honor is high, he will say that he misses Sean and that he was like an annoying little brother to him and that they had great fun riding together. If Arthur’s honor is low, he will say that Sean has been killed in an ambush and that there is still no sign of the confederate gold. “Let loose the hounds of war,Let the dreadfire of the last Priestess rain down from angry skies,For brother will slaughter brother,For friend will murder friend,As the great horn sounds a cold dawn at Camlann,The prophets do not lie,There, Arthur will meet his end,Upon that mighty plain.”— Gaius to Merlin[src]The Battle of Camlann was a armed battle between Camelot and the Saxons occurring on the Plains of Camlann in the White Mountains.Camlann was chosen as the narrowest path to force Morgana army to retreat by Arthur despite them outnumbering his forces and was seen as a death trap.It resulted in numerous fatalities on both sides and a decisive Camelot victory due to the timely intervention of Merlin in his ultimate form of Emrys, however it resulted in the death of King Arthur by his former good friend and knight the traitorous Mordred who fulfilled his destiny to kill him and his Queen Guinevere assumed the Throne of Camelot as a result. The evil sorceress Morgana was also killed by her nemesis Merlin using Excalibur thus fulfilling the prophecy of her death at his hands.Important FiguresGoodMerlinMerlin is the main character of the show and is seen fighting as Dragoon the Great at the Battle of Camlann (The Darkest Hour Part Two) as shown in Morgana's vision. He later on defeats the Saxon forces in the battle after regaining his lost powers which were drained by the Gean Cannah which was sent by Morgana. Despite being earlier trapped in the Crystal Cave by her after journeying there with his friend Gwain and bidding him a fond farewell he entered the Cave to regain his powers, however he later on regenerated them after being revealed to be the personification of Magic on Earth by his deceased father Balinor. He then exists the cave transformed into his older yet ultimate form of Emrys and he journeyed to the battle. Arriving at the Plain he used his incredible powers to defeat both Aithusa and Morgana, however despite his efforts he is to late to reach Arthur who is fatally wounded by Mordred. He later on reveals his magic to Arthur and takes him to Avalon, along the way he finally kills Morgana with Arthurs sword Excalibur however he is too late to reach the Lake and a grateful Arthur dies.He is then told by the Great Dragon he is destined to watch over Arthur grave as an immortal and wait for him rise again which he does.Arthur PendragonArthur is one of the main characters and is seen dying at the Battle of Camlann (Arthur's Bane) Arthur was wounded by Mordred and was rescued by Merlin who revealed his magic to a stunned Arthur. Despite those downsides, we still think it’s a place that you just have to include when planning your first Italy itinerary. Why? Because it’s an incredibly fun place to walk around, it has superb restaurants and it has a unique buzz that you won’t get anywhere else. So, we’d take the fast train (2 hours 15 minutes) from Milan to Venice, and check into a hotel near the Ponte di Rialto. Then we’d visit the Basilica di Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari and the Basilica Santa Maria della Salute, see the Peggy Guggenheim Collection and watch a show in the Teatro La Fenice. Then on the last day of our 14 day Italy itinerary we’d start by walking the canals of Venice between Rialto Bridge and St Mark’s Square, spending a few hours visiting the Basilica di San Marco, the Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs. Here’s a top rated half day guided tour option that hits the highlights of Venice and even includes a gondola ride. But we wouldn’t stick around too long because St Mark’s Square is a bit like Times Square without the flashing lights. Instead, we’d take a ferry over to Lido and spend a few hours in the afternoon relaxing on the beach. Then we’d splurge on a fancy dinner with one last bottle of wine to finish the trip in style. We hope our 2 week Italy itinerary helps with planning your trip! Please let us know if you have any questions in the comments below.Happy Travels,Mark and KristenFind our guide helpful? That green or you are in trouble. It kind of looks like a wedding cake. To me, the best place to approach the green is from near the water on the right side of the hole because you are shooting away from the water, and you have more latitude- you can hit it 5 degrees offline and still be okay. Alternatively if you hit it 5 degrees offline from the left side of the fairway, you’re in the water. Hole 17 Another gem of a par-3 at only 170 yards from the tips. Great opportunity for par or birdie if you hit the heavily bunkered green. Arthur Hills in the field added another 4 feet of height to this green, and it really became a classic, great golf hole. Hole 18 389-yard, par-4. No bunkers off the tee! Let the shaft out! Hit it long and straight and you are left with a short iron into the green, which just happens to be perched alongside another watery grave on the left. And the first impressions are lasting – there seems not to be a flat hole among the 18. At Fiddler’s, the fairways are generous, rolling and wide, for this is a second shot golf course. And here is where risk reward enters the picture. The approaches are open, but the greens themselves are often elevated, always undulating, and guarded by water and bunkers – every hole is different, the play always dynamic and fluid. And never boring.
