Overview System Requirements Supported Hardware Installation Instructions Product Security and Critical Updates Automating the Installation of NI Products Legal Information Overview The Xilinx compilation tools include tools for Vivado 2017.2 and ISE 14.7, which are supported by the LabVIEW FPGA Module. Install these compilation tools if you want to compile FPGA VIs on a Windows computer. You must install these tools on the FPGA Module development computer if you plan to use the Configure Component-Level IP wizard, configure the IP Integration Node, incorporate Xilinx IP, use the FPGA IP Builder, or use third-party simulation. The Xilinx compilation tools also support Linux. Refer to the FPGA Module Xilinx Compilation Tools for Linux Readme for more information. System Requirements The Xilinx compilation tool for Vivado 2017.2 has the following system requirements: One of the following operating systems: Windows 10 (version 1709) (64-bit) Windows 7 SP11 (64-bit) Windows Server 2008 R2 SP11 15 GB of additional disk space Memory—Refer to the Xilinx website at www.xilinx.com for memory requirements of different FPGA targets. Failure to meet the target-specific memory requirement may result in unpredictable compilation results. Note The recommended memory size on the Xilinx website is for one compile job only. If you run multiple compile jobs at a time, the memory requirement increases by multiple times accordingly. The Xilinx compilation tool for ISE 14.7 has the following system requirements: Windows 7 SP11 15 GB of additional disk space 1 NI software is signed with a SHA-256 certificate. Windows 7 SP1, Windows Embedded Standard 7 SP1, and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 require Microsoft updates to support SHA-256. However, this version of Xilinx Vivado is not supported by Xilinx and it is recommended to at least instal 2018.3. They also have 2019.1. ( )My question is that is this version very strict?
