Each of the different types of tile make a unique noise when stepped on. Together, the tiles make up a huge floor pattern, resembling a strange smiling monkey and a seemingly worried face, with an appendage similar to the lure of an anglerfish.The background hum that plays here is the same as the one in Hell and Mini Hell.Points of Interest[]The Bicycle effect is found here, by interacting with the bicycle all the way to the east or west of the Nexus door. Ghost World (塀, Fence) is an openly-looping deeper location found by traveling through the Crossover Garden in the Sky Garden.It is reached when Madotsuki enters the brick building's garden and interacts with one of the white flowers. Doing so shifts her between the Sky Garden and Ghost World with a bright flash. The Sky Garden music will disappear, indicating that you've been taken somewhere else.Ghost World is a drab and dour place, a city of monotonous concrete blocks stained with decay and dereliction. The eerie soundtrack creates an incredible sense of dejection and loneliness. It is very easy to get lost in this world, so if you aren't careful, you could be here for a long time.Points of Interest[]The Triangle Kerchief effect is received here, by interacting with Fleebie.There are three strange NPCs in this world. They are known as the Ghostmen.Connections[]The Sky GardenGhost World - Interact with one of the white flowers in the dark gardenTrivia[]In Japanese culture, white lilies are associated with death and funerals, which explains the method of reaching the area by interacting with a white flower.Interpretation[]The Ghost World is seemingly the 'other side', the dimension of ghosts and souls that exists parallel to the corporeal world. This could be Madotsuki's interpretation of what death or the afterlife is like. Considering other violent themes throughout Madotsuki's dreams, it is reasonable to assume she may think of the concept of death often.It should be noted that some locations in Yume Nikki seem to parallel the afterlife, with Ghost World being one of them. The Sky Garden seems to represent Heaven, as it is peaceful in both its atmosphere and music, it lacks any harmful or teleporting NPCs, and is high up in the sky, as is often depicted with Heaven and its nature
